ladies night

Tonight was the night. It was ladies night. A bunch of us got together at Crisper’s for dinner at 7 pm for socialization purposes. After Crisper’s we walked over to Barnie’s for coffee. Caffeine and I do not mix well and I forgot to ask for decaf. I am not much of a coffee drinker but when I saw the word “toffee” in front of the word coffee on the menu I couldn’t resist. Big mistake… HUGE mistake! The reason I don’t indulge in caffeinated drinks is because of moments like right now. I feel like finding a really great CD, turning it up to the maximum volume and dancing like a maniac until around 3 or 4 in the morning! I don’t think my husband who is passed out in a REM cycle of sleep right next to me would appreciate it that much.
I really enjoyed my night. I love getting to chill with the girls and talking about anything and everything. There is something so beautiful about the bonds of safe and healthy friendships. I was just saying to Alison, Heather and Jacklynn as we were walking to our cars that I have never felt as unguarded and safe with a group of people as I do now in my life. I feel as though the friends I have around me are my “roots” friends. What an incredible blessing! To all my ladies out there… love ya!

)) Word to the Price is Right!!!!!!!!
What fun I had with you gals too. I love your spunkyness and your caffeinated energy. Next time let’s hip hop our ‘arses’ and dance the night away.
Love being with you C3 chicks….it’s good to be home!

Yea-last night was so fun. I’ll be looking for my t-shirt clip, 2 pairs of cool, brightly colored socks, and a big ole’ can of aqua-net hairspray…:)

This was only our first official girls night and by all of the comments, I see we’ve committed ourselves to quite a bit of craziness in the future! Luvs it! Let’s do a “HipHop 80’s themed Price is Right” party! OMG… that sounds totally tubular… gag me with a spoon!
