Still Going
I am four days into my new healthy lifestyle. In order to stay consistent with exercise I have been getting up around 6:30 in the morning to get to the gym before work. I am not a morning person! This has been terrible! Something I’ve done to get my butt out of bed is setting my alarm clock across the room so I have to get up to turn it off. That is always the hardest part of the morning for me… getting out of bed!
I love the way I feel while I am at work. I have so much more energy and I feel so much more productive. My body is in a constant state of aching though. It is not used to this much physical activity. But I will focus on the positive…
Another great thing is that I go to bed much earlier now. I have always been the type of person to stay up until midnight or even one o’clock. If I close at work I’m not home until 10 pm. My body will be tired but my mind is still wired… I usually can’t wind down. This new schedule forces me to sleep at an earlier hour. I’m really tired by 10-10:30. I like this more normal sleeping pattern. I hope you all checked out my new blog. I promise I’ll stop writing about this soon but honestly I’m a little consumed with it right now. I’m really trying to make a change and for now I must concentrate on doing the right things so I don’t fall into bad habits I used to not even think about.
